Based on an old trick by Bob McAlister, Serpentrick is the perfect opener or closer trick for any routine. Can be performed in close up, parlor or stage, and for any type of audience.
Includes many kind of presentations with all the accessories needed, but the basic performance is the following:
The spectator selects a card from a deck. The card is returned to the middle of the deck, and making a fan, the magician explains that the selected card will rise above the fan... but nothing happens.
The magician decides to leave the deck in his pocket and says he'll do a trick with a rope. He takes a rope and tries to make it stiff like a stick... but he doesn't succeed either.
He also places the rope in his pocket and, while he very embarrassedly apologizes, the rope rises from his pocket with a card at its end.
The magician takes the rope, removes the card, and it turns out to be the chosen one!
Place it anywhere (top hat, paper bag, suitcase, etc.)
Remote controlled (no assistant needed)
